Steven McKay is a Financial Adviser at VT Wealth. Serving our clients from our Aberdeen Bridge of Don and Fraserburgh offices, Steven joined the team in 2016. He provides our clients with invaluable financial planning advice to help them achieve peace of mind through a secure and independent financial future.
About
Before joining VT Wealth, Steven worked in the Oil and Gas industry, and like so many during the downturn in Aberdeen in the period from 2010, Steven had to look at an alternative career direction. With this door closed, another soon opened and Steven changed career and started life in Financial Services through the St. James's Place Financial Adviser Academy in Edinburgh.
Holding a Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning, Steven is friendly, passionate and dedicated to taking the time to build a strong and trusted relationship with his clients. This way he can tailor his advice to provide them with the best choices to support them on their journey to meet their goals and gain financial wellbeing.

Steven enjoys taking on challenges outside of the office, and completed a trek to Everest base camp in aid of St. James's Place Charitable Foundation and the Children of Nepal charities in September 2023.
When Steven isn’t helping his client’s make the most of their hard-earned money, you’ll find him playing golf or out walking his dog Hudson.
