Vee Thom is the ‘VT’ behind our business name. Vee, the Director and Chartered Financial Planner , set up VT Wealth, a Senior Partner Practice of St. James's Place, in 2015. Vee’s reputation and wealth of experience from over two decades in Financial Services with the Royal Bank of Scotland, coupled with her desire to offer high quality, tailored Financial Planning services to help clients achieve their goals, aspirations and dreams, meant setting up her own business was a natural step in her career journey. 

Vee and her team have established VT Wealth as a most approachable, valued and trusted Financial Planning Specialists. 

With an office base already in Aberdeen city centre, we made the strategic and emotive decision to invest in a permanent base in Fraserburgh and opened our office there in August 2018.

For Vee, originally from Portknockie, with strong family ties to the Fishing Industry, this decision also meant we could better serve our loyal client base with local face to face advice. 

At VT Wealth, our clients are the beating heart of our business, and we are dedicated to ensuring that every person that walks through our doors, virtually, or in person, feels valued and really special. 

As a business geared for growth, our underlying focus is to build and develop long-lasting personal relationships with our clients. Our overarching aim is to help them secure and protect the financial futures of themselves and their families through the breadth of our wealth management and financial planning services. 

Despite the challenging times of recent years, VT Wealth, now entering it’s 8th year of business, enjoyed continued growth over the past 12 months – we understand and appreciate that it is our clients, both long standing and new, that make our success possible. 

The Business is well-established in both Aberdeen and Fraserburgh, and whilst VT Wealth has grown on the foundation of “Face to Face” client advice, we have the flexibility of offering “Virtual Meetings” through Microsoft Teams and Zoom, which has also influenced the Client Base growing throughout the UK in recent years. 

VT Wealth took the opportunity during “Lockdown” to open a new office in Bridge of Don, Aberdeen and expand the office in Fraserburgh and continue to grow our team as we look ahead with optimism and anticipation.
